Meet Maria: From Job Training Graduate to Team Leader

Two years ago, Maria walked through our doors uncertain about her future. A single mother of two, she had been out of the workforce for several years and felt left behind by a rapidly changing job market.

Finding Her Footing

Maria enrolled in our 12-week Job Training & Employment program, where she took courses in professional communication, digital literacy, and resume writing. "For the first time in years, I felt like someone believed in me," she recalls.

The Turning Point

After completing the program, Maria was connected with one of our hiring partners in the healthcare sector. She started as an administrative assistant and quickly distinguished herself through her dedication and people skills.

Paying It Forward

Today, Maria is a team leader managing five staff members. She also volunteers as a mentor for current program participants. "I want them to know that change is possible," she says. "This community gave me a chance — I want to give that same chance to others."
